Accurity Valuation kicked off its annual Franchise Conference in Chicago, IL this week. Franchisees and partners traveled to Chicago to attend sessions on cutting edge technology, best practices, and, business development. A quick Google search on the appraisal industry reveals titles such as; “Will the home appraisal industry be replaced by technology?”, “The future of appraisal: It’s not simple”, “The next job humans lose to robots: real estate appraiser.” The mood inside Accurity’s conference did not reflect these bleak predictions and questions.
In contrast, attendees were excited and energized about the future of the Accurity Network. “With the Anow technology that we have adopted and the expertise in this group, the future is exciting,” says Accurity TJ Mcarthy & Associates, TJ McCarthy. This excitement was easily felt during the conference sessions, but even more so during the breaks. The buzz in the room during these times was focused on growth, efficiency, and technology. Will real estate appraisers lose their jobs to robots? With the innovation, excitement, and expertise that was demonstrated during Accurity’s conference, it doesn’t look likely.
